Figly aims to combine architectural design with the knowledge of Greek local alimentary products. The team’s recent experience at the American Farm School of Thessaloniki introduced them to the field of Agricultural Entrepreneurship and they developed a project with the main theme “The Fig of Kimi”, the region where one of team members grew up. Their proposal was based on total research of this natural product. They worked on the various combinations of the fig with other local products but mainly they worked on the creation of a new shape of it. So they succeed in creating a new shape of the fruit after being desiccated. It was a great result that can bring changes to the market of the product but also on the way of the people approach it. This project was the reason that they are now working on this way; to experiment new shapes of local natural alimentary products.
