Orange Grove would like to announce that the 3rd Pitching Show “The Squeeze” is taking place on Thursday the 11th of June, from 18:00 until 21:00, at Orange Grove, the incubator of the Netherlands Embassy in Athens. The address is: Leoforos Vasileos Konstantinou 5 – 7.
During the previous
two competitions, 4 Orange Grove startups won in total 50.000 euros as pre-seed funding. This was made possible with the support of The Stavros Niarchos Foundation as part of its “Recharging the Youth” initiative which aims to create opportunities for Greece’s younger generation.
Now it is the turn of another 8 Orange Grove startups to take their place on the Orange Grove stage, give their best pitch, receive valuable feedback from a very diverse group of judges and the opportunity to be awarded with 15.000 and 10.000 euro in prize money.
The jury that will decide which two teams will receive the monetary prizes this time, is made up by Peter Economides (brand strategist, Apple’s Think Different campaign), Marco ten Vaanholt (co-founder of BootupVentures’ startup ecosystem and the exclusive Cuckoo’s Nest social club in Menlo Park), Floris van Alkemade (co-founded 3 VC funds with 320M €, 60+ seed and early stage startup investments), Apostolos Apostolakis, (successful serial entrepreneur involved in startups such as e-food.gr, doctoranytime, e-shop.gr, taxibeat) and Greg Birbil (former chairman and CEO of McCann-Erickson advertising agency in South Africa, Mexico and Greece, also creative director in Chicago, London, Tokyo and Madrid).
