Who is starting the Orange Grove?

The Orange Grove is an initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens and its Greek-Dutch partners to help counter youth unemployment and brain drain.

Orange Grove is the result of a collective effort of a large group of Dutch and Greek people and organizations: Dutch companies with a long presence in the Greek market, Greek businesses, universities, individuals with links with both countries.

What does the Orange Grove offer?

The Orange Grove offers state of the art flexible workspaces equipped with a conference room, workspaces on sofas and at desks, wifi and good coffee. Participants in the Orange Grove will have the opportunity to attend tailor made master classes, seminars and lectures.

Also, they will have the chance to be coached and mentored by experienced professionals from our network of companies and by experts of leading universities.

Finally, the Orange Grove itself is a valuable network: the network of the participants, of the sponsors and that of the Embassy. Orange Grove helps young entrepreneurs to bring their start-ups a step closer to success.

The generous support of the Dutch-Greek business community (see our list of sponsors and contributors below) covers a large part of Orange Grove’s costs. As a token of the seriousness of their business project, users of Orange Grove will pay a monthly contribution of 100 euros (‘the price of two coffees a day’) that will be fully reinvested in the project.
