As a symbolic gesture we will create an actual Orange Grove in the National Garden of Athens. We will plant as many trees as the number of startups that we have welcomed this past year.

We are going to release 1.000 blue and orange balloons in the Athenian sky which will have a postcard attached to them. If you find this postcard take a picture of it, demonstrating where you found it and mail it to [email protected]. The sender and the finder of the postcard are in for some surprises!

Martijn Kleijwegt
Martijn Kleijwegt founded LSP in 1998 and has been its Managing Partner ever since. His prime focus and responsibility within LSP is to invest in unlisted securities and the general management of the firm. Prior to establishing LSP, Martijn ran another investment firm where he was responsible for investments in the healthcare sector. As one of Europe’s most experienced healthcare investors, Martijn brings over 30 years of hands-on finance and investment experience to the LSP team. He has also been appointed as Director of a large number of companies, all of which he helped to grow and flourish. Among others, Martijn currently serves as a Director of Prosensa, a company that aims to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare muscle disease for which there is currently no treatment. Martijn lives in Amsterdam and has three children.
Prof Dr C.Mirjam van Praag
Originally from the Netherlands, Prof Dr C.Mirjam van Praag is Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Professor of Entrepreneurship at Copenhagen Business School, Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics. Besides that she holds an unpaid position as a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organization at the Amsterdam Business School of the University of Amsterdam. She is also a Crown Member of the Socioeconomic Council (SER) of the Dutch government.
Van Praag’s research, that is widely published in international academic journals, studies Entrepreneurship (e.g., Human Capital, Teams, Entrepreneurship and the Household) often using (field or natural) experiments. Besides in entrepreneurship, she is also an active researcher in the field of Personnel Economics (performance
measurement and rewards) and Behavorial Economics. Van Praag is a regular (keynote) speaker at international conferences and workshops. She also provides doctoral and practitioners’ training seminars within Europe.
In the past, Mirjam was employed as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, as a financial analyst with Procter & Gamble and as a research consultant with GFK Intomart. She has served as a non-executive member on various boards, both in the public and the private sector. Mirjam was the founding director of the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship and a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organization at the UvA, Netherlands. She was trained as an econometrician (MSc and Phd UvA) and has a daughter (Sarah, 1998) and a son (Boaz, 1999). In September 2013 she was involved in launching the Orange Grove in Athens.
Ronald Hans (Nalden)
Nalden (born as Ronald Hans) is a popular Dutch blogger and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of WeTransfer, Kuvva, and Present Plus and first gained his online reputation through his blog, Nalden.net. Nalden is from the Netherlands and started building websites at the age of 13. His first start-up as an entrepreneur was the file-sharing service, WeTransfer.

DJ FS Green
FS Green (Amsterdam, 1988, born as Franklin Green) is a Dutch music producer. At a young age he started making beats and from his nineteenth year, he gained national prominence, thanks to State Magazine. At the time he worked with artists like SirOJ and Hayzee. At the age of 20 he earned a State Award for Best Producer of the country. In 2010 he, along with Turk, released his first studio album, The Cashier: A Monnie Album.
